OnApp Issue (Resolved)

September 24, 2013 at 4:23 AM

A tech from OnApp, the developers of our VPS control panel software, made an adjustment which has caused the storage array of several of our hypervisors to go offline. They are presently working on resolving the issue. The exact ETA is unknown, but it is anticipated to be resolved soon.

Our apologies for their careless mistake.

Edit: All affected VM's are back online at this time.

Chicago DC Scheduled Maintenance (Completed)

March 31, 2013 at 12:44 AM

Greetings Geeks!

As we rapidly approach our 6th year anniversary, we are ramping up to deploy several new product lines and make significant changes to our existing hosting infrastructure.

For a considerable amount of time, we have been researching and developing this new hosting infrastructure. I can't reveal all of the juicy details yet, however, I can say that it's going to pretty darn cool! Keep an eye out on your e-mail associated with your account - our current geeks will be the first to know!

On April 8, 2013, we are scheduling network maintenance to begin deployment of upgraded networking equipment at our Chicago, IL data center location.

Every one of our shared, reseller and VPS servers will experience a brief 20-30 minute period of network unavailability (downtime) during the maintenance window. Our dedicated server customers will experience a more extended period of downtime (if you are a dedicated customer affected by this, we have already sent you an e-mail). The network upgrade will occur between the hours of 11 PM CST and 6 AM CST on April 8-9, 2013.

Keep an eye on this blog post for any changes to the scheduled maintenance or for any real time updates during the scheduled maintenance window.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience - we do apologize that this upgrade will result in downtime and we will do our absolute best to keep any network unavailability to a minimum.
